Furnace Repair

Furnace repair in San Diego. We'll get the heat back.

San Diego doesn't get Minnesota cold, but 40°F at 6 a.m. in Poway in February is enough. No-heat calls get same-day priority. We service gas furnaces, electric air handlers, and heat pump heating across every brand.

What do homeowners ask about Furnace Repair?

Is a furnace no-heat call an emergency?

In San Diego winters, usually not life-threatening, but a carbon monoxide alarm or a gas smell is an emergency — shut off the gas valve, leave the home, and call 911 before calling us. For a cold home without safety issues, we run same-day response on business days and next-morning on after-hours.

How long do furnaces last in San Diego?

Because our heating season is short, San Diego furnaces often last 20 to 25 years — longer than national averages of 15 to 20. That said, efficiency drops and safety risk rises past 20 years. We inspect heat exchangers at every maintenance visit, regardless of age.

Should I fix or replace?

If your furnace is under 12 years old and the repair is under $800, repair usually wins. Past that, or for repeated repairs or a cracked heat exchanger, replacement is safer. We'll give you the numbers both ways, no pressure either direction.

What if I have a heat pump instead of a furnace?

We service heat pump heating on every brand — Rheem, Carrier, Trane, Daikin, Mitsubishi. Heat pump heating issues are often reversing valve, defrost board, or low refrigerant, different diagnostics than a gas furnace. See our heat pump service page for more detail.

Homeowners who hired us for this

Called at 9 a.m. when our AC quit during a heat wave. They had a tech at the house by 1 p.m., diagnosed a bad capacitor, and had cool air back on before dinner. Clear price up front, no upsell.

Melissa R. AC Repair · Carlsbad

Got three quotes for a full replacement. Climate Pros ran the only proper load calc and picked a smaller unit than the other guys. System runs quieter and my summer bill dropped. Exactly what I was hoping for.

David K. New System Install · El Cajon

They walked me through the federal rebate, handled all the paperwork, and installed a heat pump that handles both our foggy mornings and warm afternoons. No more gas bill. Install was clean, crew was on time every day.
